wanting to tour even more after September 11 to show support, her love of
Japan, her role in Sex & the City, being described as a 'nice Courtney Love'.
"My biggest fear is the grief that I feel when loss has happened - whether
it' s death or moving or breakups or whatever. That's my biggest fear." 5510

CHEMICAL BROTHERS (Come with Us) 1190 w, nar. ON: Getting thrown off
Ibiza, the influence of Outkast's 'Stankonia' on the new album, collaborating
with Richard Ashcroft and Beth Orton, naming a song Denmark to annoy the Swedish.
"It's quite difficult to think of names for instrumental music. 'Denmark',
to me, has something right about it. I went to Denmark as a young child, my
mum has friends there. I remember rowing across a huge lake and picking up
jellyfish and throwing them at each other. And eating sausages."
ORBITAL (the Impact of the Sept 11th attacks) 1200 w, nar. ON: the
powers that be, in their infinite wisdom, censoring what the public is allowed
to hear or see at this time. "It's very hard to shock nowadays within society.
I think that's why piercings have gone so mental. All I had to do in my time
was to wear a pair of drainpipe trousers, a few rips and a few safety pins
and I was singled out."
At a time when the British hip-hop scene is again witnessing extreme violence.
MC Harvey of SO SOLID CREW discovers how the problem is affecting the
UK garage scene. "We don't promote violence and we don't accept it, it's just
how the newspapers portray us." 1190 w, nar.
He's jammed with Bob Dylan, partied with Keith Moon, sued the Byrds, traded
spiky tops with Rod Stewart, had close encounters with Presleys Reg and Elvis
and played "name that key" with John Lee Hooker, but arguably the best moment
in his life was when he was named small breeder of the year. RON WOOD,
the man who would be the Queen Mum of rock 'n' roll, tells a mean tale., 3830
